05Corporate Experiences

At OPM we understand the importance of building upon and maintaining strong relationships with clients. With this in mind we have created a wide range of corporate experiences to cater for your company’s and your guest’s every need. We provide a luxurious package that goes the extra mile to ensure that it is an experience that your clients will never forget, whilst providing a wide range of activities that will appeal to everyone, whatever their interests.

An example of such a package that we offer is:

Golf with a Celebrity and a Weekend at Ackergill Tower, Caithness

Ackergill Tower is an award winning, private and purposefully low profile venue with breathtaking views out to sea. With so much to offer we suggest that your guests arrive on Friday afternoon in order to make the most their time in this unique piece of Scottish countryside. In the early evening we will whisk your guests off for a private tour and champagne reception at the nearby Castle of Mey, where the Queen Mother resided for part of the year, before returning to a luxurious dinner overlooking the sea prepared by Ackergill’s outstanding private chef.

Saturday will begin with a round of golf at the nearby Royal Dornach course accompanied by a celebrity professional who will play alongside them and who will be more than happy to offer coaching.

Should guests wish to involve their families in the weekend, children can be entertained by puffin watching, fishing and guided walks with a ranger.  Ladies not wishing to try their hand at golf can be taken to the studio of a local artisan for a class in the jewellery making for example, or they can simply relax and enjoy the beauty treatments in the Tower’s private treatment rooms.

A whisky tasting will be held in the evening to allow the guests to pass the evening sampling the local treasures, whilst the children are captivated by magicians and balloon artist.

Alternatively the guests can opt for a more formal evening and be piped in to a black tie dinner in the ballroom where they will be entertained afterwards with some operatic arias sung by a soprano or tenor.  A stirring traditional ceilidh band will follow on from this performance and would be guaranteed to have your guests dancing into the wee small hours.

On Sunday morning an enchanting treasure hunt can be arranged for families around the magnificent 15th century castle followed by a relaxed brunch. For those who are not yet ready to part with the magnificent surroundings, we propose kitting out everyone with boots and barbours and heading down to the beach for a bonfire and a friendly sporting challenge, before finishing the day off with the local famous fish and chips wrapped in newspaper.
